Back in January of 2015 a group of Derbyshire’s finest wedding suppliers got together for an industrial-themed styled shoot at the West Mill at Darley Abbey. At the time the venue was very much still a building site but it was obvious that it was going to be something special. No sooner as I posted a few images from the shoot at then Heather in Chris got in touch and booked me to photograph their wedding in 2016.

Engagement shoots are a great way to get excited about your wedding and Heather & Chris were keen to get on and arrange a shoot in Derby City Centre. Freezing cold rain and driving winds failed to dampen our spirits and in hindsight added a unique feel to the images.

Heather & Chris are two of the nicest, and best dressed, people I know and once you’ve finished enjoying these images you can see their brilliant wedding at the West Mill on the blog here.
