Couples & Engagements
Holborn Engagement Photography London - Kate & Chris
"We just wanted to say thanks so much for sending the pictures over, they look great! Couldn't be happier:) Thanks again for putting us at ease, looking forward to seeing you next time on our wedding day!"
When I left university I spent my first few years working (and socialising!) in the area between Temple and Holborn tube stations in London. I have very fond memories of my time there and the area has a very special place in my heart.
Wedged between the glamorous West End and the shining glass towers of the City of London it’s an under-appreciated part of town. Despite being given the rather dull title of ‘Midtown’, this part of London is packed with history, scenery, and most importantly, great pubs.
So it was that I met up with Kate & Chris for their engagement shoot. They are getting married at The West Mill in Derby later in the year but met during their days at London School of Economics (LSE), where Chris now teaches. It didn’t take long to decide on basing their engagement shoot in the area, taking in some of their old stomping grounds. After meandering through the streets from Temple, up to Aldwych and around the LSE campus buildings in Lincoln Inn Fields we retired for a beer to discuss their wedding plans.
