One of the reasons I love engagement shoots so much is that I get to know my couples a little better. I get to hear some great stories about how my brides and grooms-to-be met, the proposal, the fascinating jobs they do and their plans for their big day.

In the case of Siera & Hugh we’d already got on really well before they’d booked so I’d been looking forward to catching up again at our autumnal shoot in Regents Park. Having agreed to meet at 9am on a Saturday morning at the packed Regent’s Bar and Kitchen, we were clearly the odd ones out in that we didn’t arrive on a bike or in lycra.

Having had a coffee we set off to explore the formal gardens and lakes on a decidedly autumnal day in October and here is a little preview of what we got up to.

I can’t wait for their wedding next June in the City of London and I’m looking forward to what will be a very ‘London’ wedding with a few nods to Siera’s home of Missouri.
