LONDON DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Destination weddings are brilliant for so many reasons – not least the exotic location, weather, and often the quality time you have with your family and friends over an extended period of time. But they have their own special challenges, not least finding and communicating with overseas suppliers who ‘get’ what you are after, and can put you at ease. Photographically they are very different from UK weddings too – not least the quality of light, limited daylight hours post-ceremony and embracing the cultural aspects of being in a different country.
By flying a UK wedding photographer experienced in destination wedding photography you can have the best of both worlds. Someone who you can meet and work with here in the UK and in your language, and who can photograph a pre-wedding shoot or any UK-based events, but also can jump seamlessly into your destination wedding and hit the ground running. I’m lucky to be within a train ride of two of the busiest and well-connected airports in Gatwick and Heathrow too.
I know that finding a photographer you can be yourself around is huge – and I’m honoured that so many couples have entrusted me to photograph their destination weddings around the world from Mexico to Australia. I’ve also travelled to in excess of 50 countries, with long periods of time in Australasia, India and Central & South America. It’s given me a great appreciation not just for what is required to get a great photo, but also how to get the best out of the conditions and local suppliers teams.
