“Thanks for sending through the engagement pics, we absolutely love them! It’s hard to pick a favourite! Everyone whose seen so far have said that they are very natural and very ‘us’. We couldn’t have asked for more! Going into the final month now with full confidence that we will have an amazing set of wedding pics too!”

Work hardly feels like work when it involves grabbing a delicious brekky, a stroll around Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill and getting excited about plans for an upcoming wedding.

I arrived in Notting Hill for Davina and Luke’s engagement shoot under dark clouds and heavy rain. However by the time we’d finished our morning feed at ‘202’ on Westbourne Grove the skies had miraculously cleared.

In beautiful sunshine we wondered amongst the market stalls, antique fairs and graffiti art at the Portobello Markets, soaking up the sights, smells and music.

Davina first got in touch after I photographed her friend, Annie, getting married on Shelly Beach in Sydney last year. Eighteen months later this June they tie the knot at Pembroke Lodge in beautiful Richmond Park, London and I can’t wait to be there to document it all.
