Shoreditch is a photographer’s paradise – full of fascinating side streets, walls of incredible and ever-changing graffiti art and where modern glass towers look over the old Victorian streets around Brick Lane and the Truman Brewery. And so it was that I found myself wandering through the streets of Shoreditch on a sunny Wednesday evening to meet Katie & Ben for their engagement photography shoot.

We met for a pre-shoot drink at the Box Park market, just a stone’s throw from their apartment. We then strolled the streets and shops in the late evening sun, checking out some of the permanent and more temporary sights in their neighbourhood, and got some great images amongst the hustle and bustle of London during the early evening commute.

This June I get the opportunity to return to one of my favourite London wedding venues, the Council Chambers at Islington Town Hall for their wedding, followed by a reception at the stunning Coq D’Argent in the City of London.
