I have so much love for this shoot – a homecoming trip back down south on a beautiful spring day, with soft, golden-hour sunlight to play with, and a fab couple in Vic and Mike. Feel free to read on or just head straight to the pictures!
I get to travel to many fantastic parts of the UK and overseas but strangely enough I don’t get to travel back to my home patch on the south coast in East Sussex. So it was with more than a little excitement that I left London on a train bound for Lewes for Vic and Mike’s pre-wedding shoot.
It has been a funny old spring weather-wise and both the weather forecast, and gloomy clouds, didn’t bode well. However after a quick coffee the clouds lifted and we were spoilt with beautiful weather. After wandering along the cobbled streets of Lewes, and relaxing in the tulip-filled Southover Grange, we finished our shoot by exploring the ruins of Lewes Priory in glorious late-evening sun.
Having spent a fab couple of hours chatting through Vic and Mike’s wedding plans, I’m even more excited to be returning to East Sussex for their seaside wedding at the Cooden Beach Hotel.
