A wintery morning engagement shoot on the South Bank of London in the warm company of Monika & Oliver
On a bitterly cold and wintery Friday morning in January, I found myself sitting inside a cafe on the London South Bank. I was there to meet Monika and Oliver for their engagement shoot ahead of their relocation to Singapore just a couple of days later. Warming our hands on the largest mugs of hot chocolate I’ve ever seen and watching the sleet fall outside we were praying for a little weather window – it was now or never.
Having discussed their wedding plans, relocation to Asia, and the news, the sun finally appeared from nowhere and we spent a fun hour and a half playing with the winter shadows and exploring the 60s architectural icons along the South Bank and some London landmarks.
Nine months later I rejoined Monika & Oliver in Italy for their Florence engagement shoot and wedding at the stunning Villa Medicea di Lilliano. Once you’ve enjoyed the images below they are well worth a look!
