London weddings are a dream for me – the combination intimate private celebrations interspersed with the business-as-usual chaos of London’s Streets. And this was what what awaited me at the wedding of Jenny & Paul in Islington on a fine spring afternoon.
The day began at the Council Chamber at Islington Town Hall with its stunning domed roof and stained glass windows. After a ride across London and over the Thames we arrived at Tanner & Co on Bermondsey Street for the reception. Situated in a restored warehouse the decor is stylish with a 1970s school gymnasium-inspired theme, with music provided by the epic beat boxers Duke.
