It’s not often that a family shoot is as action-packed as my recent family photography session in Kew with Jules, Tom and their son Josh.
Having spent the last nine years in the UK, Jules & Tom were heading back to Australia and wanted a set of photographs to supplement their own memories of this special time in their lives. Kew has to be one of my favourite London villages and through sheer luck we timed our shoot to coincide with the Kew Horticultural Society’s summer fair on Kew Green.
After a relaxed start to the shoot with Josh playing at their beautiful home in Kew we set off to the fair to play on the vintage amusements. We then explored the relative calm of Kew Gardens before a nice cup of coffee and a trip back home for some down time.
