If you close your eyes and imagine what a quintessentially London wedding would look like then there is a fair chance it would look something like Darsh & Matt’s special day. First up was the ceremony in one of my favorite London venues – the council chambers at Islington Town Hall.

A bright red Routemaster bus then arrived to take the wedding party on a tour around central London. We managed to stop for an impromptu shoot in the long shadows outside the gargantuan doors of St Paul’s Cathedral and on the Thames Embankment across from the London Eye. Finally guests were treated an intimate wedding breakfast in a private dining room at Mews of Mayfair in the narrow streets of Lancashire Court, though not before a drinks reception in the contemporary art gallery downstairs.

All in all a splendid day, full of emotion, love and London.
