As a Sussex boy born and bred, any wedding in this part of the world is particularly special for me. The day started off with the groom in my home town of Newhaven, just a few hundred metres from where I grew up before covering Becky’s preparations at her parents’ house nearby.
Buxted Park Hotel in Sussex provides a stunning backdrop to any wedding and we were blessed with perfect August sunshine for an outdoor wedding on the lawn.
Bridal transport was provided by Paladins Classic Cars who have the most beautiful selection of vintage motors. Post ceremony we managed to slip away from the reception for half an hour and head out into the Sussex countryside in a 1953 Bentley.
After some emotional speeches and a big feed, we took some time out to explore the hotel and its beautiful grounds and, for good measure, threw in a few less photographed areas of the hotel. As the sun finally began to drop the Sussex group South Coast Soul provided a great soundtrack to the first dance and party.
